As a small business it’s easy to hide behind our brand and assume our work will do the talking. It can feel very vulnerable to put ourselves forward and I know I use the excuse that it seems arrogant to self promote. Yet I always feel so much more connected to a brand when I can see the people behind it. In others, I see it as honest, confident and refreshing.
Amy and Jane run HomeNotes, an organisation that helps people to renovate their homes as easily, efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. They have a wonderful eye and an authentic energy that makes you want to work with them straight away. They also realise the importance of allowing clients to see this, as an integral part of the services they provide. So our aim with this shoot was to build a bank of images that reveal them as people, within their organisation. Thanks Amy and Jane for bringing me on board for a fun, insightful and sunny morning!
Here’s a short preview from the shoot.
