A few words about me and my work...
When people ask what I do, 'I photograph
people' somehow doesn't do it justice. When I shoot, I become absorbed
in my surroundings: the atmosphere, emotions, relationships, light and shadow, colours, expressions and telling little details. I create an atmosphere that enables all of these to flourish, then I shoot what I see and feel. Each person has a unique story, and I try to capture a snippet of that in every portrait I take.
If I have an aim when I photograph, it is to tell stories that evoke emotion and reaction which would not otherwise be experienced. If
those experiences change attitudes, emotions or actions then the stories have been worth telling.
There are so many life stories out there that deserve exposure. I feel privileged to have been able to capture a flavour of some of those over the years and proud to share a few with you here. Some of these have been exhibited at both the Science Museum and The Hub Kings Cross.
I work for organisations that I believe in. If you have a message that needs to be communicated visually, please get in touch to discuss how we can work together. We all have a story that is worthy of being captured, so if you need some portraits that reflect you and your story, I would love to talk to you. I look forward to hearing from you...
